Topic:
Did you know talking to your family about your wish to donate tissue is just as important as registering with the Glenda Dawson Donate Life Texas Registry? At the time of death, your next of kin will make the final decision on donation, regardless of your registration status. Many people don’t make their wishes known about donation, and too often, families choose not to donate their loved one’s tissue.
In at least 500 words, tell us how you would encourage someone to talk to their family about becoming a tissue donor. Use facts about donation and the great need for these donated gifts, as well as your own personal experience to persuade them to have that talk. You can even use examples from the conversation you had with your family.
