O-Negative, O-Positive and Platelet donors

Did you know?

  • O-negative blood can be transfused to patients of all blood types. It is always in great demand and often in short supply.
  • When O-negative blood is in short supply, O-positive blood is used in traumas.
  • Patients with traumatic injuries, undergoing cancer treatments or receiving transplants need more platelets than their bodies can produce.

Start the new year off right with a blood or platelet donation! Please consider giving now and follow up again when you’re eligible to help rebuild the blood and platelet supply.

"Great place and so accommodating. Makes it a pleasant experience when donating." - Nicole, New Braunfels Donor
