Who's ready to grill?

A backyard barbeque is a wonderful way to bring people together. You share stories, meet new friends and celebrate as a community. Well, here at the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center, do that every day. The smoked meat and potato salad aside, we're all about celebrating community and bringing people together.

In celebration of all that our blood donors do to help our community thrive, we've got a special offer for you! All blood and platelet donors who give during the month of May at any STBTC donor room will be entered to win a Special Edition Weber Genesis II SE-410 Propane Gas Grill.

All you need to do to win is c'mon out to any of our conveniently located donor rooms located throughout San Antonio, New Braunfels and Victoria. You can chill out in one of our comfy donor chairs while donating platelets, sipping gatorade and watching your favorite movie - not a bad way to win a top of the line grill, eh?

Anyone who is 16 years old weighing 120 pounds (with parental consent form), or at least 17 years old weighing 110 pounds and in good general health can donate blood. Donors must present photo ID, last four digits of their Social Security number and their birth date.
